For its first season as a basketball program, Great Barrington Academy is proud to welcome international standout Ydderick Gonzalez from Venezuela. A member of the Class of 2027, Gonzalez marks an exciting addition to the team’s foundation.
With experience on the Venezuela U18 National Team, Gonzalez brings a high basketball IQ, sharp perimeter shooting, and elite court vision that elevates teammates and controls the game’s pace. His skills and maturity will be key to GBA’s early success.
Known as “Caricuao,” Gonzalez represents both talent and character—two cornerstones in building a strong tradition at Great Barrington Academy.
